Bowsall commence on 5.9m Dartford project

modular construction company

Bowsall, with its partner Moat Housing Association, has brought forward the site of the former Erith Trades and Social Club building in Dartford.  The site recently received planning for the erection of a six storey block to accommodate 40 apartments consisting 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom flats each with private amenity balcony space.

The scheme provides for the regeneration of a key gateway location within Erith Town centre on a derelict site previously used as a private members club. The design provides for a contemporary addition to the Erith skyline in line with other recent developments and the scheme accords with both London Plan and Design For Living guidance in relation to level of accommodation and amenity space for future occupiers.

The site is situated on the south eastern side of James Watt Way close to the junction of Erith High Street, and Manor Road to the south. Situated within the boundary of the Erith District Shopping Centre the site is some 0.174 hectares in size.
