Great places get the go ahead in Clitheroe

Great Places Housing Group received planning permission for a scheme of 28 houses on the site of a former car garage in Pendle, Clitheroe.

The scheme, brought together by housing developer Bowsall, Great Places Housing Group and JDA Architects, consists of 14 houses for Affordable Rent and 14 houses for Shared Ownership and will see the garage demolished and replaced by 28 energy efficient, modern new homes.

Assistant Director – Development, Helen Spencer, of Great Places Housing Ground commented “Great Places Housing Group worked with Bowsall and architects Jennings Design to gain planning permission for 28 homes at Pendle Garage, Clitheroe, for affordable rent and shared ownership. Great Places is pleased with progress so far and believes the development will provide much-needed new homes to meet local demand”.

The scheme is due for completion in 2015.
